Meet Pastor Wes
Thank you for being interested in Liberty Community Church. This church and our community are two of my great passions. (Some of my other passions are Jesus, my wife, my two children, and motorcycles) I hope you will make LCC your spiritual home, and I look forward to growing with you.
Linda and I planted LCC in 2003 with a handful of dedicated people. We have watched it grow into a great community of believers in all stages of spiritual growth, and we have seen LCC change more lives than we ever imagined. My heart is for the addicted and broken in this world because that is what I was a few years ago. I spent most of my life controlled by alcohol (as a co-dependent and as a dependent), and I saw its effects in my life as it nearly destroyed my marriage, career, and life.
I discovered that the Jesus I had heard about was real, and that He was alive and wanted a genuine relationship with me. I discovered that if I sought a relationship with Him first in my life that He would take care of the rest of my life.
LCC is built on the power I observed in my own relationship with Jesus as He took my brokenness and made my life into something useful. If you feel broken, damaged, or that you just don't fit in life, then LCC is the place for you. We are all just a bunch of messed up people trying to grow in our relationship with Jesus together.
If you don't fit in most churches or have never been to a church then LCC is a place to explore your spiritual side. Why not join me this week?
